Homeowners
Garages, workshops and shells explained without contractor jargon.
Our story
The same people, the same engineers and the same voices on the phone—with a name that now fits the whole building journey.
The name change
VMI Buildings carries forward the people, engineering discipline and purpose associated with Viking Manufacturing. The new name gives design, engineering, permits, fabrication, delivery and customer support one clearer home.
Where it started
VMI grew around customers who needed more than a kit. They needed help translating an idea into dimensions, drawings, permit conversations, fabrication and delivery. That practical gap shaped the direct, coordinated approach used today.

Archive photography and named early milestones will be added after records and publication rights are confirmed.
What we learned the hard way
A good frame cannot repair a vague scope, hidden exclusions or poor communication. We learned to put viability, project records, permit coordination and written milestones ahead of promotion because those are the details that prevent disputes.
The numbers
Who we build for
Homeowners, working farms and growing businesses should never feel too small for a clear engineering path. Larger clients add experience, not a reason to push everyday buyers aside.
Garages, workshops and shells explained without contractor jargon.
Working buildings shaped around equipment, livestock and access.
Warehouses and commercial spaces tied to operations and growth.
The team
Names, roles and approved portraits will be published after the internal team roster and photography releases are confirmed.
Turns project facts into a coordinated drawing and calculation record.
Connects the project record to the authority reviewing it.
Carries the approved configuration into production and handover.
